This is the guy who the press say we will look to sign now that our main target Sigurdsson has joined Spurs.

I know very little about this guy, and do not know how good he is. But I do know the team he plays for (Bolton) has just been relegated after a terrible season.

So, what are your thoughts on this? is he up to LFC standard?

Oh for **** sake, no we don't want a bolton Reject, and to think we used to be linked with the likes of ****ing silva and Aguero
 
Mark Davies is a very good player. He would be a good signing for you, he was Bolton's best player last season, as he probably has been for for a bit of time now, he is a good passer who likes to keep it relatively simple. If he signed for Arsenal, I'd be more than happy because he would be good cover in midfield. This is a good working block, none of you should be sad discouraged about this signing.

I agree he will be good cover for Liverpools midfield, BringBackBenitez is also encouraged and hopes that Mr Davies will sign.
 
Would be a good squad player, if we are going to go after a Bolton player. Would rather have Stuart Holden

Neil Jones from the Echo says he isn't a target. Can scratch this one i think.
 
On Bolton players, I would be happy with Stuart Holden, if he wasn't so injury prone. Great player when he's on the field.

That's natural. Our recent few seasons mean that we're likely to fill this gap in news with fears!

Compare us to Man City. The only player they've really been linked with so far is Gaston Ramirez (a player many of our fans hope to get). Until today that is, since Van Persie has announced he isn't signing a new contract (what a surprise). Their fans have had an enjoyable few seasons so the gap in news for them hasn't been filled with fear, and doesn't mean they won't make some quality signings.
