They probably charged him 'cos their time is running out so it was either that or relealse him or charge him. That police force will be under unimaginable pressure. It happened back in the day with the likes of the Birmingham 6 and Guilford 4 and we seen how that worked out. The public (tabloid press) screaming for heads on blocks.
