Manchester City are ready to sanction the sale of Mario Balotelli this summer after manager Roberto Mancini finally lost patience with the striker during the 3-3 draw with Sunderland.

you could conceivably need 3 new strikers in the summer, then? those financial fairplay rules arent getting any easier to comply with, are they?

For me its more about what he hasn't done, i hate the sulks the lack of effort and the petulance sure he has scored 15 goals but a lot of them have been penalties, Aguero on the other hand has scored 24 and looks like he wants to play every time he starts as did Tevez last season, I know there are City fans who love him because he is the way he is but i would rather have an Aguero/Tevez type player on every time who you know is going to put a shift in every time he plays.

As Swarbs the United mod has posted here in the not to distant past - "you were warned"

I think he'll end up costing Mancini his job
He's fallen out with 2 players on Tevez and Bellamy who give you 100% every time they play and this twat just saunters round the pitch like a modern day Rodney Marsh
With Tevez and Bellamy the title wouldve been wrapped up by now

Maybe not -

Inter techical director Marco Branca refused to rule out the possibility of the club reacquiring Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli.

The Italy international signed for the Premier League outfit in 2010, but his time at the Etihad Stadium has been marred by disciplinary problems.

As Manchester City are thought to be open to parting company with Balotelli, Branca revealed that the Nerazzurri are weighing up the possibility of making a bid for the 21-year-old striker.

"Balotelli? We are now thinking about Fredy Guarin's press conference and the upcoming match against Cagliari," Branca told reporters.

"We will talk about that in one or two months.

"We knew this would be a transitional season. I do not think the investments we will make will depend on whether we qualify for the Champions League."

Balotelli has scored 17 goals in 30 competitive matches this season for City, who are five points behind Manchester United in the race for the Premier League title.

He is also a ****er.

I have said so many times he is a passenger yet RM has stuck by him game after game, Tevez left on the bench for most of the second half again after we see a shocking tackle in the first half that could have easily seen Balotelli sent off and the other player with a broken leg and RM still brings him out for the second half, a ****ing disgrace.

I could not believe Ballotelli came out 2nd Half. I though Mancini had lost the plot keeping him on. Even more so taking Aguero off!

I thought Compny, Zableta and Lescott did really well and I do nopt follow why Kolarov was only on the bench?

Balotelli needs to take a long look at himself. I've always backed him, there is something I like about him and he has potential to be one of the best in the world. But if he doesn't sort himself out soon, before the end of the season soon, I will be happy to see him leave in the summer. He should have been sent off for the challenge on Song and got let off, and then STILL manages to get himself sent off. The annoying thing is, we all knew it was coming. You just knew he was going to get that second booking at some point, he can't control himself and I've said enough "he's young", "he'll learn", "give him time", he's had nearly 2 years and he's embarrassed our club and Mancini. Mancini put faith into him and he's given little back.

To be fair it wasn't just Balotelli today - at least he cared enough to get annoyed.

You're whole team are mercenaries who don't care - except Kompany who seems to really be suffering playing with a bunch of tossers.

$ity were always going to implode, and it is good for the game of football.

The most hilarious part is that Balotelli is actually a ridiculously talented player. He'd be as good as Aguero if not better, if he just could be arsed. Good thing he can't

Heard on MOTD2 that Mancini has said Mario will not play again this season. Something to do with a bust up in the changing room after the game.

Baloteli has cost man city the title full stop ! better squad then man u it was said a long time ago that he was the biggest prob ! better squad by a country mile .. but put a thorn in a side and thats ballotelli .........Mancini is to blame big style ... any other manager would of won the league !
Mancicni o dear ! what a FUK up
