I was listening to a podcast the other week where they were talking about him might have been Phil brown on under the cosh actually, everytime he got himself on track he was distracted again by clingers on so just faded to nothing, potential was ridiculous too
To be fair, at that time no one really knew what he was like as a person. I always had doubts though. His stats round then we're brilliant, goals and assists, one of the top players in league one, generally putting in good performances for Peterborough. What got me though was that no one from a higher league was looking at him. You would think that lower or mid level championship teams would have looked and took a gamble on him, yet none did. That was enough to have me wondering if something was up with him as a person and the way things have gone with him since has proved it.
One more gutter dweller, thinking if only...
Never on maga bucks but could probably have had maybe seven years or so on something like £3k- £4k a week.
