A day after Roland appeared in the press warning about the evils of an overlarge squad, we've signed Marco Motta. A right back, so cover for Solly, but I'm sure we signed another right back recently? There is also a rumour that he has'nt played this season, so very much one of 'ours'.

Oh. I thought somewhat naively that he must be a left back, but that would have been too sensible.

If he'd arrived in august maybe. But it's very late for him to get up to match fitness.

Motta is a textbook Duchatelet signing though:

    - free agent
    - foreign
    - little Championship experience
    - short term contract
    - no recent match time

    Whats not to like <cheers>

This signing just proves how impossible it is for them to learn from their mistakes. Anyway Roland only likes yes- persons, so there's nothing he's going to learn from anybody.

WE must have done away altogether with scouting. We only sign players who can't get a game with anyone else, or who are playing in India, and I can't imagine Karel flew out to watch Roger Johnson in India. Roland's statement that we rely heavily on our British scouts is par for the course for honesty

    Everyone seen Motta's comments today?

Either crass in the extreme, lost in translation, or proof that footballer's really do live in the bubble.

Just for the record Marco old chap, Charlton fans are NOT protesting because our team is ****e. That goes with the territory of being a Charlton fan you bell end. Nor are we protesting because we have been relegated <doh><doh>, that goes with the territory as well.

We are protesting because our owner and CEO have systematically destroyed everything about this great Club that we fought for and held dear.

Now please Marco - f*ck off.

His worst performance in a Charlton shirt, really looked a spent force. Ironic that he is keeping Solly out...

It's on the CAFC website <ok> he says he is going to give 100% in the last two games which will make a change because he's given feck all in the previous 12 he has played in.

What's the point of giving 100% now? Actually what's the point of them even playing?

I'd dispense with ALL LOAN PLAYERS and those who wont be here next season. I.e. anyone with a relegation release clause in their contract, the likes Vetokele have no intention whatsoever in playing in League One (to be fair the waste of space didnt have much inclination when it come to playing in the Championship) so **** em off out the door now I say.

Time to give the kids a chance (including recalling those out on loan elsewhere).

Said kids will be fundamental to what we do next season in League One. Blooding them now will give them invaluable first team exposure and help us in the long run.

What's the point playing the likes of Sucks Arse, Motta, Sonogo and Vetokele...? Doing so helps them and their parent clubs. It does nothing for us...!!

And abit like ex junkies talk to junkies to show them the error of their ways I would get Poyet to speak to the other kids about what lays ahead when you bugger off to the prem ....ruination of your career ...added to the above starters Cousins and Lookman they may well not be around but they care play for the shirt and our own
