On CTV last night they said he would be a possible for training today at Cobham! It sounded more like he had a medical condition(?) than an injury though!
 
Sorry , it was Ramires with the medical condition(he's fit now). Marin has an achilles tendon injury and will not be in the squad! <doh>
 
Totsfan isn't far off the mark. Marin has been severely injured in the past. We bought him knowing he was fragile and now we've broke him in pre-season. Achilles tear is at least 6 weeks before you can get the foot into a neutral position and then a month at least to rebuild strength and fitness. I know, cos I severed mine. Five years on and I'm still in pain despite successful surgery.
 
Still not as bad as Aquilani. I remember Liverpool bought him injured and he didnt play for like 3 and a half months! lol
