Just imagine if United won the CL. If we're being realistic, it's their only hope of being in the CL next season! When the pressure was on Chelsea, they did it. Stranger things have happened in football! I know it's unlikely, but you can't write them off!
I gonna start placing bets on all of Utd's opponents in the CL to win. That should ensure Utd win the competition. It will probably also ensure Spurs miraculously get 4th too
I think if SAF was still in charge and the PL had gone t*ts up for Utd, you could bank on us winning the CL. After all, you only need to win three or four games from this stage. But the team is so devoid of any confidence, character, motivation, determination etc that instead of grabbing victory from the jaws of defeat as in the past, it is destined to do the opposite. If you want a bet, I'd go for Utd to be leading Olympiakos 3-0 after 25 mins, but to go out on away goals when they score in the last minute of added on time.
With Modric their best player this season. the rat faced genius really is a superb footballer, not to mention monkey face banging in the goals.
Gosh,Real are so bloody fast,front to rear.The understanding is so remarkable.They actually play as though they know each other,unlike our team a lot of the time. Modric was in and out of the team.They now can trust him to get on with being the engine room,while their two wingers aren't bad at all!!!!! I think Real are worth putting 10p on to win the CL.An outside chance of course unless they come up against the bus parkers of Chelsea...... Pretty impressive win anyway.
