By that time i would expect Utd to be out of the running. Liverpool look good though and might also catch Man City.
I'm an optimist but there is no way Chelsea are making any major slip ups. If they were still in the CL and/or FA Cup, there would've been a slim chance. Now? Virtually impossible. It would have to be a collapse of monumental proportions. I'm happy with 2nd.
So our unpredictable season makes another twist with us being one of the in-form teams in the league this month. I'm hoping that this will bring about a long unbeaten run of wins. It will make things really interesting and we can realistically achieve 2nd. For any hope of the title, it would take some major luck and Chelsea going on a major downer. They do seem to be dipping in form but to lose that much ground is uncharacteristic of a Maureen team. An FA cup and 2nd in the league would constitute a very successful season considering our poor start and early injuries. This would also show us making real progress in the league, which is something that is more important.
Just seen 50 mins of Arsenal v Westham, i can see no difference between Arsenal and United so if one can catch City the other should be able to dependant on "run in They have not won any of their last 3 home games so you never know
LOL sure sure, get the **** out of here, we play much better than you do, and a football game is 90 minutes, not 50, we eventually blew West Ham out of the water with some beautiful football. We even gave you a good football lesson at OT at how to pass, play quick, and actually create chances.
Yes, but Welbeck still had to show that desire and energy, would Falcao have done the same? Highly unlikely. The only reason as well you passed back was because we were making it hard for you to play. As I said, don't think you even had a shot on target in the second half, can only remember Rooneys free kick that went high.
I think if Liverpool beat you next week, it's them set for top 4 and theirs to lose over you. I do have a feeling that as ass kicking is in store for you guys at Anfield.
So with all the March fixtures played we had almost the perfect month. It was five wins from five games, progression in the FA Cup but out on away goals in the CL. A goal away from the perfect month, but better than expected before the fixtures were played. We are now set up nicely for a good finish to the league after the international break. We are 3rd only a point adrift of City in 2nd and into the Semi Final of the FA Cup against Reading, with a great chance of reaching the final for a second year running. March has set us up to finish well and it's going to be an exciting finish to the season!
and don't forget that its now 4 points off first place with the leaders to play at home. Chelsea have the games in hand but will they win them.
March was an extremely good month for us, barring the home defeat to Monaco. But when you looked at the amount of fixtures that we had this month taking in an away tie to Man Utd we have come out of it in a really good position in 2nd and in the semi final of the FA cup
Interesting how the table has panned out this season, the current top 7 clearly in a bracket of their own with a few teams behind them and then the rest of the pack playing catch-up.
