Should he have been given more of a chance for us? I certainly think so. Grigg was getting picked over him at one point??
I rated him from the very little I saw of him.

His Hibs career has got off to a flying start today, albeit against a shyte team.....

Knows where the goal is

I don't understand why he wasn't given more game time, he was treat like an academy product. The fact that he looked the part out wide and down the middle, and scored goals, seemed not to matter in the least.

His workrate was spot on and he was full of energy. He came from a Championship team aswell, so ability rise he could and probably should have played most weeks for us.

Had some good games and some bad games, scored a few, played a minor but important part early season.

The main thing is that he couldn't claim a place in a very poor side. That says everything.

Bit annoying how Ross targeted him for Hibs but when he was here it was Grigg chosen every time despite him being useless.

I always thought McNulty looked the best option of the three forwards we had.
Was Ross under pressure to play Grigg, given his profile and the (assumed) fee paid for him? It's a question you have to ask. Especially as McNulty was only on loan.

Could well be mate, we know that Donald had some influence in team selection because he forbade Ross from picking any contract rebels.

Full disclosure, I follow Hibs for family reasons and he's one of my favourite players over the last few years, in fact I was over the moon when we signed him.

He looked a bit unfit at first but you can't buy his instincts. I mean you can, but we probably can't elsewhere :D we've been a striker graveyard too long, we have to give these lads with proven records a proper run out, not just give up.

Scottish Premiership player scores hat-trick against 5th tier team shock
Bewildering isnt it?
Others were snivelling when boyce got off to good start up there.
Macnulty was a trier little else.
Also a sicknote for a.lot of his time with us.
