No axe to grind from an England perspective as I'm not bothered whether they win or get knocked out by Iceland but from an individual player point of view I think Cruyff was the best player ever. Only luck stopped Netherlands winning in 1978 with the ball coming back off a post in the last few seconds from Rob Rensenbrink.
