Says the fan of the team that, at the start of the year, was 13 points ahead of us!

Skiddy keeps posting the words "MIND THE GAP!" as a substitute for actually trying to think of anything half-intelligent to write. But - you know what? - he was actually right! I think he's some kind of idiot-savant! He was actually trying to warn you Chavs that Chelsea would bottle 9 points in three months!

    Short memory it seems.

Was convinced this would be a draw! :(
    Never mind.
    On to the next game.
We are limping over the finishing line, like in 2015

Think we are simply seeing the result of playing the same team too often. With people like Ake, Zouma, and even Michy never playing, when we need them they are simply not match hardened.
Today I truly believe we were complacent. From the top down. Conte has to address the dreadful form of Costa. Bugger the FA Cup for mine, play anyone and get the top 11 rested and prepared for the last games.
Still ours to lose, but any more efforts like this and we might do so.
Man Utd stepped up, we didn't.
Nevertheless, I still think the sun will rise in the east tomorrow and the world continue to revolve.

The spent computer SAM predicted that Chelsea would win the league by 7 points. A reverse set of results and it's business as usual.
I actually think the tables have turned. There is now huge pressure on Spurs. They are actually within touching distance of winning the league. Will they have it in them to keep their nerve and push or will the chance of success get too much? They have a very tough game against palace next and I think they may well drop points there.

In the normal scheme of things, you should win the title handsomely. Your run in is much kinder than Spurs' and the mancs could even do you a favour by taking some points off them.

But it is up to Chelsea not to throw it away now that they can see the finishing line. A stumble does not have to turn into a catastrophic fall. The next match could be key. Win it and you win the title. But lose or draw , you are in big trouble.

He's a real enigma Costa, and more trouble than he's worth for me. Hopeless and too aggressive early on, then a really great run of form, then the Chinese approach , then the sulks, then a few more really good games ,now he couldn't score in a brothel. Attitude seems to be his problem, when it's right he's brilliant. Too inconsistent, too sulky, poor skills in the box, not my kind of player.

Yesterday was far and away our worst performance of the season. That is all, we move on.

Replace Costa for Lukaku in the summer methinks.

  15. I still see you winning the title.

Yes, we've closed the gap in apparent spectacular fashion, but I am extremely conscious of the fact that we still have Arsenal and United to play.

Whilst we play Arsenal at home, the North London Derby is always played like an FA Cup Final, when form and tactics seems to go out the window, for both teams, and it becomes the football-equivalent of brawl inside the boxing ring.

The United game is at OT, and despite the fact that we are by far and away the better team, Mourhino has more than enough of a team left to get a draw against us, if not the win.

I'd be amazed if we could take the title off you. It is still yours to lose.

And yet you said that one more slip up by us would guarantee you the league. <doh>

Chelsea will probably still win the title, but I still feel Spurs are a stronger team man for man, and I think they'll prove that in the Cup semi final. I think Chelsea have benefited from having no European football, and that's the main reason Chelsea are top over Spurs. Had both had European football I'm fairly confident Spurs would be top.

I think yesterday proved that Chelsea are along way off being vintage pace setters in the PL. A big game away from home and the so called stars all went missing. Costa is to much of a streaky player, he plays well for spells but has so many off games. Kante had a rare bad game to be fair to him. The defence was very much exposed, David Luiz in particular showing his old self. The biggest flop of the lot though, is for me the most overrated player in world football Hazard. The rumours linking him with Real Madrid never fail to crack me up, as he is a million miles away from the likes of Ronaldo and Bale the players he would be competing with for a place. He's just knowhere near good enough to play for either of the Spanish giants.
