He doesn't hate them..he just has an alternative view

<applause>
My view, exactly, Bruv!

I respect Candyman, and I wish more of the Chelsea lads would, too.

Why can't the Chelsea boys embrace Candy's alternative take on CFC?

Mousers, too, could learn a thing or two from Candyman's approach to supporting his team. It wouldn't hurt for a few of them to examine the veneer that covers Klopp's cracks, and to speculate on how painful it's going to be when 'Pool plummet once more back into mid table obscurity.

I thought you said you were finished with that drivel?

You're just jealous because the hurricane is no longer the best quarterback in the prameer league.

Yeah apparently a team sitting in 6th, 16 points behind the leader, with 21 games played, should be ODDS ON favourite for the title.
Maybe odds work differently in America.

If there is a dark horse this season, it’s Spurs. But we all know they will crash through the final fence and throw away any remaining chance on the run in, so it’s City‘s to lose when Klopp gets all emotional and goes full Keegan.

Yup, a dark horse is a team that could win it, that wasn't expected to be one of the favourites.
Spurs are the closest this league title chase has to a dark horse at the moment, with Pool and City being the expected challengers.

Pretty much; realistically it’s between those clubs, with Spurs the outsiders poised to take advantage if both the other two falter.

A team that has been in the title chase twice out of the past 3
seasons cannot really be considered to be a "dark horse" at this point.

Least likely of the top 3 to win it come May : absolutely.

So a dark horse then? You've never really come close to winning it.

So a dark horse then?

If Spurs did win the PL it would not be as seismic as what Leicester did.
Everyone would just say :

They have been thereabouts for the past few seasons, and finally made the
last step.

That IMHO is not the definition of a dark horse.

" You've never really come close to winning it."

At the end of which match day week in the season, does a clubs' challenge
have to end for one to say they "never really come close to winning it." ??

For you the implicit claim appears to be : week 37.

If Spurs won the Premier League, that would be pretty ****ing seismic, no doubt about that. Because no one seriously thinks they will win it this season.

When was the last time Spurs actually went top, and for how long?

You are definitely dark horses.

You are not expected to win it and you boys are a small club who hasnt won it in years. No one would be belittling spurs if they win it and everyone will be very surprised

It would be as much of a surprise this May as if the Poool win it.
Probably less so given the league form of both clubs in recent seasons.
