Good game tbh.

First half we looked sharp. Grosicki cutting in from the left and giving their right back a torrid time. Looked tight at the back. Promising.

Bowen goal was well worked but looked off-site. Wouldn't have survived a VAR appeal, that's for sure.

Second half a few changes and we looked off the pace. They pressed well and profited from a couple of our mistakes. Apart from that Dicko wonder goal we didn't really create anything.

Fair result at the end.



















I've just made all this up by the way. I thought the MDT could do with a bit of a lift.
 
These friendlies are rubbish. I recall going to Grimsby one year to see us win 2-0, tor 2-1 then tell Burnsey we'd go down. I reminded him of our conversation coming out of Wembley nine months later.
