I would use the FA cup game v Mansfield purely as an under 23 game, to lose wouldnt be the end of the world. Give the first team squad the weekend off. Bradford game in PJ we are already through to the next round ,use this game as a trial in prep for next league game. Different pairings different formations etc. Makes sense to me.

I agree. Id give Broadhead some game time, but other than that id give the whole team a complete Saturday off

makes sense to me, we have won a trophy albeit a 'minor' one to many and we really need to get out of this league, giving players a rest and trying different things seems pretty obvious as we need to find a way out of this blip.

being this is the worst time in our history, sadly for Mansfield supporters this is not 1973, the F A cup is defunct now and needs massive financial backing. There would have been 15-20,000 3 weeks ago but that team has caused this, i might not be going back in fact this season another £420 thrown away.

The FA Cup needs a massive overhaul to get people back but unless the number of games or international breaks reduce I can’t see if ever having the appeal it used to have. It’s just too much of a burden especially for the bigger lower league clubs in our position.
