Never heard of him but its a loan deal so low risk.

Where this leaves Johnson I have no idea.

If we don't get Moreno then i'll be pretty disappointed given our fullbacks were clear weaknesses last year even with Flanno playing well.

I'm pretty certian we'll get Moreno, it's just being dragged out - probably due to all the fine details. But for me it's pretty much a done deal. He wants to come here, we want him, and he's up for sale - even Liverpool can't **** that one up!

  7. If Johnson remains and we sign Moreno, where the **** does that leave Flanno? I'll be annoyed if he gets left out the side with Johnson playing!

So apparently Kelly is going to be tried as a CB backup this season, with Johnson, Flanagan and Manquillo as RB options, Enrique and Moreno (if he comes) at LB. With Kelly moving inside, Skrtel, Agger and Coates are all available to leave should a suitable offer come in.

    That's what I heard anyway...

Seems a strange one to me. Less experienced than our 2 young right backs Kelly and Flannagan who have proved they can play well in the premier league. What is the point in this signing?

    - well Kelly is now 24 and still hasn't developed into a good RB
    - Flanagan is injured

Kelly is the new El Zhar.... he's been in the youth program on the verge of breaking through for so long now that he's going to be getting OAP discounts before he becomes a first team regular.

No Kelly broke through years ago when Dalglish brought him in. When Rodgers first came in he was first choice RB, having played loads under Dalglish, but then was injured for over a year. He has struggled to get back but it looks like he's on his way back.
