Hope the link works. Manning starting to get noticed in his home land. http:/www.independent.ie/sport/soccer/other-soccer/manning-hails-Cunningham-impact-on-his-championship-rise-35345468.html In addition, I heard a piece on Newstalk radio (kind of like Talksport) last night with Kevin Kilbane where they spoke about him and Kilbane reckoned he was a good prospect and said that he had given him personal advice over the last year or two etc.

The club were after losing six games in a row before the former Galway United man made his debut. Since then they've won two games back to back and Manning has been rewarded, appearing on the cover of QPR's programme for their FA Cup match with Blackburn Rovers tomorrow. After his debut, The R's' manager Ian Holloway was full of praise for the 20-year-old. He said: “I think Ryan Manning was absolutely outstanding and epitomised what my QPR was before and what I want it to be in the future.” The Hoops are currently 17th in the Championship table, just five points above the relegation zone.
Maybe we should be treating this as an "incoming" and have a Manning Signs thread, given that he was apparently not part of the plan only a few weeks ago and on the way out of LR. Hoping his form and development continues.
Fellow Hoopsters - There was an interview just last night with Ryan Manning on the radio here in Ireland on Newstalk (Newstalk.com) carried out by Kevin Kilbane & a fellow presenter. The lad came across well, intelligent & determined, and will hopefully be an asset for us in the years to come. You can locate the interview online by logging onto Newstalk.com and locating the 'listen back' section, then finding the third hour of a programme called 'Off The Ball' on Wednesday, January 25th (it may or may not work outside Ireland). He gives some insight into the changeover from the Hasselbaink regime to the Holloway regime as well. On another topic, surely with Sheffield Wednesday being linked to other strikers, Gary Hooper (who as a Celtic fan I have followed closely for some years now) could be an option for us. With a name like HOOPer, he has always been destined to play for teams wearing hoops ! If he performed half as well in the famous blue & white hoops, as he did for the equally famous green & white hoops, I would be very pleased.
Welcome ClewBay. Don't be shy, only 3 posts in 2 1/2 years, we don't bite on here, well most don't!!!!! Always good to get newbies posting so look forward to you posting more in the future...... Up The R's
Listening to the interview now. It is excellent. Just before he came over to QPR he did his leaving cert (A levels) and got enough points to study Physiotherapy at UCD. He is definitely clever and risked a really good career/college course to sign for us.
And talking about Manning getting column inches, http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...d-s-longest-penis-offered-porn-film-role.html
That was a great interview ClewBay, I think young Ryan has a great future in the game. As an all-round midfielder he's got the lot.
