Sad how it’s ended a bit controversial but can’t fault anything he’s done for us. Brilliant player and played in every position possible up top and performed well in all of them. Going to be hard to replace him and his goals. Diaz has been great but so far hasn’t got the goal output (admittedly in small sample size so far).
Am I the only one who isn't that bothered? We got Diaz, who with a pre season under his belt will look much better. One of that 3 was always leaving this summer. I also think we've done really well getting the 45m or so for mane. The team had to evolve and this is it, buckle up
Said that all the season. Well, actually said at least one but suspected two. Mane was the one I thought least likely to go though
I thought mo and Bobby would be off tbh. We will miss his contribution no doubt but I've got nothing but faith that klopp adjusts accordingly and we won't see much change in terms of points come the end of the season. I hope anyway
I think he should have been more honest about his intentions so that we could have given him a proper send off. The club knew though you can see that from the signings of Diaz and Nunez.
I hope Bobby signs a new contract, kinda player that can come in and out of the team and make a real difference.
I wouldn't mind him off too tbh. Mane this year, Salah off for free next, wipe the slate clean imo, start again, new front 3, new dawn, all that ****
With Bobby though it gives us a completely different type of player tactically who can come deep and hold the ball and link the play. Games don't always go as planned and if you need that tactical change he'd be perfect. He's of course also got that experience.
I think hes done tbh mate. We aint seen a Bobby like you describe for ages now. Id keep him the year and let him go like Salah.
Maybe but given we were fighting for trophies until the end in the league and cup, prob didn’t want anything to distract it and would be very mane like to put his own individual praise behind the need for the club
Thought it was £35m for Mane? Still okay. I love the guy, but he's past his best. Not to slag him off at all, but for the last two seasons he's only come good in April and May. The mistake Liverpool made in the early 90's was not replacing the 80's team in the late 80's, but trying to do it all in one or two seasons in the early 90's. See United since Fergie left. Klopp is rebuilding - he'll use the next four years to replace the front three, the midfield, Virgil and Ally, wait and see.
Normally shown as a bit over £25m upfront then up to £10m in addons with quite a bit of them fairly easily achievable . Lot of confusion over these near identical symbols £ and € .
