Sorry mate. Yes, that's very nice, but I think the more windswept look of MANE C has the edge.

Got any more?

I think we all know what the answer is.

Can I complain about the title. It is very misleading and I thought I was going to be able to discuss the merits of one of our players. Something along the lines of the old 'Danny Fox' threads. Very disappointed.

If we're genuinely talking about Mane of the Sadio variety, then I have to say I think that he is awful.

Started brightly for the first few, but he is honestly worse than Papa Waigo. I normally try and defend saints players to the hilt, but I genunely can't see many positives in his game at all.

He shows signs of being decent (that beautiful reaction finish against Stoke), but he is a complete liability. I would go as far as to say he not only doesn’t win us games, but can actually lose us games. Yesterday’s freekick for one, according to many; and it seems that a game’s best chance almost exclusively falls to him every week, only for him to completely blow it. Missed two or three complete sitters for my money, and didn’t see yesterday’s game, but all reports say his was the chance to go one up. We were winning these games we didn’t play well in before 1-0, and now we’re not – one of the reasons being that we’re blowing the chances we might have taken before.

He’s not solely to blame, but we need a more composed player in his position. And one that can tackle without looking like he’s going to get a red every time.

Not writing him off – just he needs to find his place. And for now it’s probably coming on from the bench. Never thought I’d be glad to see a player go to the ACON!

The fact that the best chance always seems to fall to him suggests that he is the best at getting forward with the ball or best at getting himself in a position to receive the ball. Either way, someone needs to work on his finishing.

Agree - meant to say that in my post, but forgot. That goes on the plus side of his balance sheet.

or that he never comes back and is often in a 4-4-2 position to receive the chances?
