Mandy...would you want him back?

I remember Barcelona well (though I do wish I was young enough not to remember). I cannot ever remember him forcing his way into the starting line up and looking good over a sustained period like Carroll did for us. Shola has never had had Carrolls ability for me, nor his promise. Always been a lazy so and so too. The odd highlight in an otherwise frustrating watch for all concerned with Newcastle United.

 

How many games has Carroll played since leaving Newcastle?

 

4 months out. He picks up far to many injuries. Clearly doe s not look after himself off the pitch.

 

Close the topic, he's not going anywhere until January at the earliest, if at all.

 

You would have to be daft to sign him. He will probably have to call it a day before he gets a move anywhere else.

 

Carroll didn't have Shearer and Bellamy to force out of the way in order to get into the first team. It is true Shola was never the jewel of the team the way Carroll so briefly was but Carroll was playing in a team that had a lot less star quality.

Agree Shola never quite showed Carroll's promise but he looked pretty good in his day, and his day lasted longer
