Search as I might, I cannot find any of the experts who predict anything other than a Man.Utd. win.

Whenever Solskjaer needs a couple of wins under his belt, he delivers. The former United striker seems to do just enough to keep Ed Woodward happy, even if that's not enough for the club's suffering fans.

The 2-0 victory against Chelsea seemed to come totally out of the blue, while the 1-1 draw at Club Brugge gives the Red Devils a platform to go on and qualify for the last 16 of the Europa League.

Wins against Wolves and Bournemouth had given Pearson's Watford a new lease of life in their battle to avoid relegation, but the new manager bounce seems to have disappeared in the last few weeks.

Draws with Tottenham and Brighton have earned them a few precious points, though tight losses to Aston Villa and Everton have been somewhat demoralising.

With Utd. playing a dull game on Thursday night, some of the players maybe are feeling that they are not 100%, something that the manager seemed to acknowledge in his press conference today. Watford meanwhile have had time to get some of the injured back into training, and news on that situation is looking much better. Both coaches though are keeping it very close to their chests as to who will definitely be playing.

If , Sarr is fit , and able to influence the game , perhaps a shock result will occur , united seem to be getting better as the season goes on , anything out of the next two games is surely a bonus that wouldn’t be expected ?....

Agreed! I think that we have not looked the same team since his injury. Although he has been training with the team this week Pearson has not committed to playing him if there is the slightest doubt that he could do more damage.

    Agreed with comments above.

Pick up anthing from the next two games is a bonus. We should maybe expect more chance at Utd.

The thing is we really don't want to come out of the next two games with any injuries or confidence further dented.

    COYH

It is close to gettting to now or never to save our season, but the next two games are very tough.

Man U have been a bit flaky and seem to do worse against sides who don't fully attack them as we saw at the Vic.

We've played well before at Old Trafford without getting results - hopefully that will change.

A fluky 1-0 win would be good!

But ofcourse they do have quality - and Ighalo who is bound to score!

I think we will have to hope Sarr is fit as we will try to play on the counter attack and our defence are fully focused..

So no silly own goals or lack of marking.

All Nigel has to do hypnotise Troy into thinking that he is Luther and it is 1978 in the league cup

    1977 or 8 that was I think?

We drew with Man U in the FA Cup 1-1 in 1969.

The replay at the Vic remain our biggest ever gate.

Bags larger than 20cm x 5cm (8" x 6" x 2") will not be permitted into the stadium tomorrow. All bags will be searched and items larger than the size criteria must be left at the away team 'bag drop' facility located in E2 car park.

I wouldn't want someone searching my sandwiches. They might get a shock if they smelt the cheese in them. :emoticon-0103-cool:

I’d take a battling point now. Don’t think there’s any reason why we can’t get a point with a decent performance. COYH!

Was hoping Sarr was back. I think he gives the opposition something else to think about. Whilst he has been injured I feel we are too predictable and that has also had an effect on results in that we struggle to regain the initiative when we make a slip/ mistake which has seen us punished.
