Don't seem to get much luck against Man U despite playing well .

Hopefully take our chances in the big games to come !

MOTD does not really do justice to Watford and the atmosphere. But nice to hear that yes we deserved a draw.

These are the player ratings Matt Rowson gave in his match report:

    Foster 4, Janmaat 4, Masina 4, Britos 4, Kabasele 5, *Doucouré 5*, Capoue 5, Hughes 5, Pereyra 5, Deulofeu 4, Deeney 4

Not a 3 in sight and we lost. Unbelievable.

    And here’s his summing up:

Here’s the thing. Saturday’s gone, we lost. Fine. But we were completely brilliant. Nobody who watched this game should have any concerns, not about next Sunday, not about finishing seventh. We’re that good.

Having watched the match and MOTD does anyone else think their second goal was offside?

I am split on this - it is very tight and part of his body is in front of the player with the ball and the ball travels forwards (slightly), not back or across. On the other hand Martial is about as offside as Troy was with his header the other week.!!!

This could be a pub quiz question. Which club does Lawro consistently predict to be worse than their actual position by the largest error in the premier league ?
What is it with him ?

Is it me (yes ;)), but I was more than a little pissed off with the editing on MotD, which seemed to choose a lot more of United’s attacking play than ours. The choices completely flew in the face of the pundits’ comments, and Solskjaer’s that a draw would’ve been a faiirer result.
The official Premier League edit I saw on lasthl.com is far fairer.Second best, but they’re one nil up.” Very different to Jonathan Pearce’s, which surprise surprise fits in well with the BBC edit.
I know Old Jug Ears hates us, but even when he’s not on we don’t get a fair report.

Absolutely agree, they showed most of Man U shots and probably the same for us but that was not a representative ratio. I was also surprised that Man U had more possession that us per the stats.
Is is me or is Solskjaer a smug little bugger? Thought he was a good footballer though.

Then Shearer complained we were too attacking having been criticised for sitting back against Man City the other week .

Well I prefer too attacking rather than sitting back, even if it leaves us open to some opportunistic counter attacks, we should have goals in the bank.
