Not too bad a result - must admit I was expecting a bigger scoreline. Just the one less goal attempt than them, which is amazing after their dominance in the first half hour.
Well once we stopped being scared of them we pretty well matched them and if we play like this in the Champ hopefully things will improve. We definately need to take our scoring opportunities and a LOT of dead ball practise.
A good effort and we defended well after the early goal but we didn't really look like scoring. New lad Phil did well.
We looked alright, but it's the same problem we've had for at the last three seasons: terrible at dead balls, and a lack of cutting edge going forward.
More positives than negatives, another hamstring aside. Not at all unhappy, made United work for it and with a bit more potency in front of goal Useful work out for JP; PZ looked good; DB more than ready to step in, BF needs to up his game. My tuppence worth anyways.

We had loads more attempts on goal than in the recent past so that's a plus point and we had more corners than them which also indicates an attacking style. We were playing a tip up an coming team too who had to resort to bringing first team players off the bench to shore them up. I thought Mr Humbo (?) put in a good performance when he came on too.
Hungbo - and yes, I thought he looked the part too. Looking at comments from ManUre fans on Twitter, many of them were waxing lyrical about their midfielder van de Beek, and calling for him to play first team games more often. My first thought was that they were being a bit over the top as he was only playing against a Championship side but, thinking about it, I decided they were unwittingly paying us a compliment - they obviously viewed us as worthy of a place in the EPL...
If we had had a bit of luck on the day that they had with their goal it might have been a different story
