It could have been better but I'd have taken anything before the game.
The defence was superb. Adams and McKennie dominated the MF. I think Manure finished stronger because we put so much effort in.
Aaronsson's best game for a while, Rutter struggled so we missed Paddy, Harrison is brilliant right up to the key pass, Gnonto is a gem.
Well done the management team for the tweaks. They worked.
I thought when Sancho came on and Rashford went central we couldn't deal with it and Luke Shaw's delivery is spot on.
We deserved that but we'll have to do it all over again to get anything out of Sunday.

Well played to the new coaches, a baptism of fire if there ever was one.
Stuck with a sensible line up, play high press, but not suicidal.
Made constructive subs when needed.
Also Wober, ****in imense, apart from the stupid run into midfield and losing the ball.

We were getting mullered down Ayling's side time and time again but Firpo coped admirably in my honest opinion.

Struijk will be out now for Sunday (concussion protocols) so he might get a run in the team which should please a few on here.

 

I wouldn't go that far he made a number of errors that could have been critical

 

I'm not Firpos greatest fan, but credit to him, he played well.

 

I think they'll start Sancho and put Rashford up top on Sunday but I don't think they'll have such an impact against fresh defenders. I'd take another point now though

I like Struijk, he hasn't been the same since Klopp got him sent off but there's a decent player there, but he should have scored tonight, instead of chesting the ball he should have thrown his head at it and blasted it into the back of the net Lee Chapman style

Altered to a more 4-4-2 at times when attacking

4-3-3 when their keeper had the ball and then we pressed when he released it, but not in any gung-ho way so we always kept our shape.

For all the criticism of Marsch, a lot deserved, a lot of our signings in last two windows have his stamp/influence on them. MC Kinney Adam’s sober all quality

 

A few of them did but no one judges them only on the bad stuff they do. Firpo is just **** no matter what he does to some people.
