Apart from Utd.
The truth is out there. Moulder and Scully never had google but you do

Apart from Utd.

It's way before his time.
Apart from Utd.
If you say it's true it must be true.
Alexis Sanchez is being paid 300k a week. Prove I'm wrong.
The thing is falcao was turned down by several clubs, which looks to be due to his wages rather than his ability. In Monaco he is on huge money. Utd pay there key players like Rooney very large wages. Don't think it's too much of a step to assume utd got far closer to reaching his wage demands than anyone else was willing to go.
Falcao's move, meanwhile, includes an option for United to buy him for £43.5m at the end of the loan spell.
The player will earn approximately £265,000-a-week, while it is not thought Monaco are paying part of his wages.

Not that it matters to anything but the most accurate source I can see on his wages, from bbc

Falcao, his agents and Monaco were negotiating with United for months to get the deal sorted so which clubs turned him down?
Thats a bargain compared to what most thought. £55m+ and £365k a week
I don't doubt we're paying him big money. I do doubt we're paying him the media quoted amounts. What I definitely don't doubt is that, as vulgar as it is, he's already paid for himself in shirt sales. So in a nutshell, United can afford him so why not sign him.
There is no chance he has already paid for himself in shirt sales. That'd require an insane amount of shirts to have already been sold.
There are an insane amount of people that support United. I'm not saying that's a good or bad thing but it's the reason why we can sign players like Falcao, despite having an annual debt repayment to service, and why Real can sign a player like Falcao every season. Fortunately for us their priorities were elsewhere this season and/or they'd done their money by the time he became available!
Well including the loan amount it's around 50m to sign him and 265k must make him the best or almost best paid player in the league... Not sure it's a bargain, just less of a giant fortune![]()
Sorry pal but I don't think that's accurate. 5m signing on fee, for the sake of argument let's call it 300k a week, although I think it's less than that. Over the 9 months of the season he'll be with us that's c.16million. I don't think that's bad business for arguably the best striker in the world. Neither do you in truth!
Unless he literally dominates the league I can't see anyone paying that kind of fee for a 29 year old

Madrid weren't willing to spend the money on him.
As for the shirt sales, he hasn't sold enough shirts already to pay for himself. Regardless of size of fanbase he has been at the club for all of a week and his total cost could end up being around £130m (assuming you sign him permanently and he signs for five years). Or as little as £20m if he just stays for a year. Either way you haven't sold that volume of falcao shirts in a week.
