We both finished above you, be gone, go fight with Newcastle fans.

I'll give you credit for one thing pal and that's sticking with Arsenal throughout a decade of mediocrity. I know you weren't expecting such an uninspiring 10 years after you jumped on Wenger's bandwagon. It's made you very angry and bitter though.

The mad thing is, if Wenger hadn't been pissing about at some charity game on transfer deadline day, you might have had a chance of signing Falcao and putting in a real challenge for third place this season! Oh well!

It's nothing to do with wenger being away. We still signed Welbeck. And we turned down the chance to sign falcao according to news reports, pretty sure his dad said as much too. Probably the obscene wage cost that would totally disrupt our wage structure.

I would hazard a guess that there weren't too many takers for him on loan @ £350k a week and that United paid it as they are desperate. I thought they would get more midfielders and defenders which is what they need. But like us they perhaps found not many were available

Yep, this is the most likely scenario. Apparently we were in for him, but there's no way we were ever going to sanction that sort of money. It smacks of desperation.
