Dear God not Fellaini he's just not a CM. I would rather Herrera at the base of the diamond, with Valencia on the right. Rafael and Shaw on the overlap. I think that would be a decent attack.
Fellaini has been on form for you guys recently, if I were you I would play him, if you didn't play him I'd actually be happy, he's the only guy in midfield atm that can add steel for you guys, a midfield of mata-maria-herrera and another attacking midfielder would suit Arsenal excellently.
He had one good subs performance against West Brom and rode his luck against City. He was also totally the wrong choice against Crystal Palace. But more importantly he showed glimpses of good form as an AM rather than as a defensive midfielder that Moyes was trying to shoehorn him into. The thing is if we're having to rely on Fellaini to protect our defence we might as well forget our defensive problems and just focus on retaining possession and building our attacks. Fellaini can't help with that. It's going to either be a high scoring game or we'll both be extra careful and set up for a draw, fck knows!! Btw Herrera has provided more steel than Fellaini has and he is much more creative. I have a feeling Carrick will be fit. Him and Herrera would be great for us but may mean dropping Mata which I don't want. I'd prefer us to play a diamond with Carrick, Herrera, Di Maria, Mata and then the two up front.
Fellaini is your best player deal with it already, Rooney is pants and Di Maria is just an overated lil girl
That would be my choice if Carrick is out but i fear LVG has decided we are better with Felli in the midfield. For me Herrera has been our best player this season, Felli is a red card waiting to happen against Arsenals lightweight fast midfield.
Probably best you just stick to Arsenal players, you must know much more about them than United players
United fans must have been ****ting themselves when Di Maria went down after a nasty tackle from.....Nani.
There are a few of us that have noticed this. I think our attacking play, creativity, the way he knits our passes and works the ball forward, is above anyone else in the side. But bcos he's been in and out through injury ppl haven't picked up on it. If he stays fit, he will go on to be a fantastic player. Used to watch him at Bilbao, so pleased we signed him.
ADM took a bad one on the ankle, it looked the sort that gets worse once the game is over and it seizes up. He may be a doubt for weekend, Shaw should be ok
I would rest ADM, it's good to be cautious, playing him might make him worse, at the end of the day this is only a game, so no need to risk him, let him have a good weeks to ten days rest and be fully healed up. .
