It definitely should. Considering some of the players you have, the style of play (and speed/tempo) is shocking. I can't help feeling that the team is still a bit unbalanced despite the vast amounts spent on it
United are playing like when you buy a new football console game, for the first few days you're pretty ****e and getting to grips with the game, so your play is really bad, boring, and you usually end up with a lot of 1-0 and 0-0, however the difference with United is they are remaining like that forever rather than improving and starting to eventually play well. .
In your case that will most certainly not be happening, we won a lot of games 1-0 but we were actually good, you lot on the other hand, not so good......I'd say all the teams above you right now are better and stronger than you, which is why I don't think you will be ending above any of them. Also as a United fan I'd be less concerned about the title and more concerned about not dropping further down the table, only 1 point above West Ham, 2 above C. Palace. There's a reason your 5th and dropping, and it's not because your title challengers, it's because you lot are poor. You have a better chance of ending 7th or 8th than you do 1st.
I have no illusions about finishing first (doubt any United fan has) unlike you last season when I told you Arsenal wouldn't. I have no real concern's about dropping lower (it could well happen), what bothers me most is the way we are playing. The day United supporters start singing "one nil to United" is the day I might start looking how Salford City are doing.
This....Basically my analysis turning out to be spot on. West Ham have now gone above United, and United not at all looking like contenders, but more like ending around 7th or 6th.
Lolz, United can no longer take the piss out of City and Chelski for failing to sell their stadiums out: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...cket-sales-Europa-League-tie-Midtjylland.html LOL they're having to close an entire section of the seating due to lack of ticket demand for their Europa League. Biggest club in the world my backside. Bunch of glory hunting plastic ****s. Everyone goes on about the amount of glory hunters City-Chelski have attracted over the years, but I'm 100% no other club has attracted as many glory hunting plastics as Manunited.
We've managed to attract over 20,000 fans over the last twenty years so what does that say about our fans ?
Things grow, that's natural, but in United's case, it's largely plastic fans-glory hunters. Fans join us because they admire our brand, .
When Man Utd were in the 2nd division in 1974 they were getting average gates of over 50,000. Twenty years ago we couldn't fill a 38,000 capacity stadium. Are you seriously saying that a lot of Arsenal's new fans are not plastic glory hunters ?
Not true, even amateur teams team's having a kickabout in their first game get family and friends turn up to watch/support them.
