You claimed that the ref didn't hinder Spurs at Old Trafford last season.
That's been shown to be completely incorrect.
As you probably wouldn't even accept that the officials hindered Spurs in the game where Mendes' 'goal' wasn't given, I doubt that you'll agree.

That was the same ref, by the way.

oh, but they haven't been shown to be incorrect. You've presented no evidence to back up your claims. I've shown footage from the match to corroborate my story.

And I'll agree, the linesman also ****ed up for the Mendes goal, as I've already stated.

I agree with the Mendes incident, but Gomes was your problem in that "other" incident.

You didn't show any footage.
What evidence would you like to see?

Ref stands with his hands behind his back at .14, not indicating advantage.
Linesman's flag is raised at .38.

I posted the exact same video right there.

This video shows that at the moment of Nani being fouled,Nani handling the ball, and Nani striking the ball into the net, the linesmans flag is firmly by his side.

But he still never blew the whistle, your whole argument is based on the foul, but without a whistle there is no foul!

He raised it far too late, and the ref had in himself deemed the goal eligible.

Irrelevant.
The ref can give a decision, consult his linesman and then overrule his original ruling.

You can blame the ref all you want, but the fact is Gomes put the ball down and walked away when there had been NO whistle, he was at fault and Nani took advantage of his stupidity.

I don't know for certain.
Ask Rio Ferdinand, as he was allowed to join in! <laugh>

The linesman flagged for something and when the Spurs players talked to him, they walked away in agreement and smiling.
What do you think that he said and what do you think that he flagged for?

And the ref was at fault, both initially, for not indicating that he was playing an advantage and for failing to pull the game back after he'd made the second mistake.

You still don't get it do you, if you don't hear a whistle you don't just roll the ball into play and leave it, it's even worse if you don't see the ref make any gestures (regardless of whether he should of made one or not) because then you have to assume that the ball is still in play, not doing so is stupid at any level never mind at the top level! Ref's are never going to be right all the time without the aid of video replays, but players have no excuse for not being able to follow the most basic rules of the game.

Someone from the Spurs board has just sent me a PM saying ignore Ensil, most of us think he's a prick on our board too.

That was class!

And the ref has no excuse for failing to follow the basics of his profession, either.
He didn't indicate an advantage, he didn't pull play back one no advantage was accrued and he didn't alter his incorrect decision after consulting his linesman, who clearly did see the offence.

Actually the ref has every excuse, he clearly shows that there was no foul on Nani and does not blow the whistle, the linesman did not raise his flag neither indicating no foul, Gomes then picked the ball up and started running out at which point there was still no whistle and no flag suggesting there still was no free kick, Gomes drops the ball and walks away WITHOUT hearing a whistle to suggest that it WAS a free kick, Nani actually scores before the linesman lifts his flag, so if he was raising the flag to inform the ref that it was a free kick for handball as people suggest, then why did he not indicate the foul during the actual incident? At no point until after the ball is in the net does the linesman raise his flag, and at no point until after the ball is in the net does the ref blow his whistle, so at no point did Gomes have a reason to put the ball down and walk away, he was at fault and cost Spurs a goal.

Clearly the P in PM is lost on you <doh>

PNP, they see what they want to see. There is a long history of bad decisons made against the away team at Old Trafford. We'll just end up with even more pages of going in circles.
