I think whenever Valencia has played at RB he has done well. Apart from giving away the pen in the week he hasn't made any mistakes. I think Ferdinand must still not be 100% and only when we were getting pulled all over the place did Ferguson decide to bring him on. Though I would have prefered Jones to then go to RB and Valencia on the wing. Still if Ferguson decides to play a winger at right back then who are we to argue? He clearly knows his football.
True, but we don't really need the spark all that much right now. I'd gladly scrape a load more scrappy wins, and even a few scrappy away draws, if we go on one of our usual strong runs at the business end of the season
