Part of the problem is that whenever we don't win or play as well as we'd have liked - we (like all fans) always have to have a scapegoat...
It has been Berba, Rooney, Carrick, Anderson even Evra.. And it's Nani and Evra right now.

UIR.. I do think the rotation is a big factor, but he needs to force Fergie to play him every week like he did two years ago... And at the end of the day, we don't see his (or anyone's) attitude at the training ground every day.

You might be very surprised to see all of our wingers contributions this season so far.

valencias doesnt exist. Hes been consistently ****. 1 assist and 1 shot in 270minutes

Nani has 2 assists at 6 shots in 187minutes.

Young has 1 assist and 2 shots.

All need to step up, especially Valencia

Fair is bad, don't tend to form an oppinion from looking at stats though, we all watch the games. Thats how i decide who i think has contributed well or not.

With Nani i think he performs to his potential about once every ten games.

My point is we'd all rip the **** out of him and other teams for thinking he was amazing.. He is our Walcott.. Yes he can be unplayable at times but those times are too few and far between. Yes our expectations are probably higher due mainly to ronaldo; but if he didn't try and emulate ronnie we wouldn't. He swaggers about the park thinking he is ronnie and he is far from it. He is massively inconsistent always will be..

My original post on him still stands.. I don't care about stats at all this isn't football manager its proper football.. I base my opinion on what my eyes see.. Christ back in the late 90's some twat from Ipswich (Stewart)?? Won the golden boot.. That make him world class. ?? Kevin Phillips dis once I'm sure too, he was still ****. Darren bent scores lots of goals still think he is **** an doesn't deserve to lick the piss off cantonas boots. I'm sure scholes stats have never been great as you don't get an assist for an amazing cross field ball to someone to then play a ball into the box to create the chance.. Some players bring far more than what is shown in stats.

So, what's your opinion on stats then Sweats ?

PS : Had you made your points about Anderson, (fans supporting him when he's obviously **** ) I would have agreed but I think Nani is a good player...... sometimes <ok>

They're on the same level.. Both are **** at decision making as they invariably make the wrong decision. Both can be unplayable an truly **** in equal measure and both split their own fans over their alleged talent.

I can see the similarity, but Nani is a much better version of Walcott. Much more skilful and makes a greater contribution.

I would agree with you if Utd fans tried to make out he's an amazing player, but most of the sensible ones don't. We see him for what he is - a talented winger who delivers a good amount of goals and assists and has his uses, but needs to improve his decision making if he's going to fulfil his talent.

Disagree, I'm not going to argue about how good we think Nani is, but if you take a way Walcotts pace and you get a MLS reserve. You take away Nani's pace and he still is a decent player.

Nani is better then young and Valencia. But he can be inconsistent.
