If a warm welcome is TV and Per shoving firecrackers up his arse, he's going to feel very cosy indeed.

I suspect Arsenal are more scared of van Persie than he is of them or their fans <laugh>

Hey, to you Manc c-nts commenting on here like it's somehow amusing or low of Arsenal fans to have animosity towards RVP, did you c-nts forget your own fans protesting outside Rooney's house when rumours were floating that he was off to City????? But can you expect of Mancs? Once a c-nt and a hypocrite, always a c-nt and hypocrite.

So when Arsenal fans protest outside RVP's house, or any Arsenal players house for that matter, then you c-nts have my permission to talk about Arsenal fans and their animosity to RVP.

Now I hope when RVP scores he runs to Arsenal87's house and throws a keg party in celebration.

This ain't the 'banter' thread or let's be honest, the entire United board. This thread is here to discuss the game between the two teams. A87, let's not start the whole slanging match with the United fans on here. The 'funny' meme may be harmless but it's what starts the slanging matches off. So it's best to stop that sort of stuff at it's source.

Its a football match not a ****ing commons debate SJW.

It should be about the game and a bit of banter thrown in. Obviously not the overly serious stuff from A87 but a bit of fun and games is what its all about.

However its your board so your rules. Feel free to come and crack a joke in the thread on the United board though <ok>

I seen how these things work and time and time again, I know how it ends up. With the people involved, it becomes more than just 'banter'. Hence stopping at it's source. If you want to discuss the game or the things around it then, fine. But ****ty memes that has no relevance to anything will be removed. <ok>

Wouldnt it make more sense to remove the angry kids posts considering they are the catalyst more often than not.

Hence why hes banned from our board and probably others. Unhealthy anger.

    Regardless.... you feeling confident?

In that rant of his, there is a point about how United fans reacted when Rooney said he would not sign a new contract and comparing it to our reaction to RVP leaving. In his own style, there is a point there.

As for the game, no I am not feeling confident, at all. Apprehension, is what I am feeling.

Perhaps but I am sure Arsenal fans on twitter or some internet based forum ( not like this one, forum as in place to vent frustration ) threatening van Persies wife or something like that.

I vote we call these people ( at both clubs ) bellends in the first degree <ok>

<ok> Anyone who threaten's the players family, and not the player themself, is a massive bellend.

Lol, I just don't like United fans and their arrogance, so I spit that venom on them, plus these losers giving 'banter' now, were the same losers who BANNED me from their own section when I got into it with them, mind you, there were comments calling Wenger a **** and what have you, none of which got taken down, except my own comments when I gave it back to them.

At the end of the day having said all that, United fans can't even take banter, remember when Tevez signed for City and they came up with that great mega board? United fans weren't smiling saying EH THAT'S A GOOD ONE LAD, YOU WIN THIS ROUND IN THE BANTER, NOW LET'S ALL GO SING AND DANCE. Not only did their fans react, THEIR OWN BLOODY CLUB in Alex Ferguson reacted as well and they've had a chip on their shoulder ever since that board was raised.

Now is the time for Arteta/Wilshere/Cazorla to show they are the best midfield in the league. If they dominate, we have a chance.

I can see this as a score draw - the result v Reading will give you enormous self-belief going into this game. United have an outstanding attack with RVP as the top in form striker in the Premiership; having said that they are not bullet-proof only De Gea's class saved them from disaster v Stoke before Rooney's equalizer. Should be a cracker always a good game to watch.

I like this headline from a neutral :

"If Arsenal fans don't boo Robin van Persie then football as we know it is over"

I do not think he should worry though.

If he scores i would rather he celebrates it, would be a cheek to act like he actually has some respect for us
