Ofc SAF has been quite fond of the old 433 or 451 formations this year. How'd you rate your chances against a front three of RVP, Rooney and Hernandez/Welbeck
no santos....i would prefer miquel or even meade against valencia. Santos is ok against mid table teams but not against the likes of valencia
Wenger needs to play this song for the players in the dressing room before kick off: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mWyB447vNjg And make them do the chant as they leave the dressing room chanting it all the way to the pitch. And then Vermaelen stands in the middle of the pitch and yells: TONIGHT, WE FEAST IN HELL!!!!!!!!
Fergie's taking the piss. 1348: FOOTBALLManchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson would be surprised if Robin vanPersie, who left Arsenal for Old Trafford in the summer, was not given a warm reception by Gunners fans when the two teams meet on Saturday. "I think, if you think about all the former players who have come back to Old Trafford, they always get a warm applause," says Ferguson. "I don't think he'll have a problem tomorrow. I think the fans will recognise the eight years he gave them and I think that will be nice."
The most important fact about the game is that Mike Dean has been appointed referee. For those of you that don't know, this referee is usually very good with a high degree of accuracy, except when he officiates Arsenal games, when his calls all go against us. A referee more guaranteed to ensure a Manchester United victory could not have been apointed. I would strongly suggest that you go down to the bookmakers and put your money on United, if the bookies will take your money, and you can get any odds whatsoever. I will not be watching the game. It will be a totally pointless exercise in frustration. A draw is the best we can hope for.
Fergie must be living in cloud cuckoo land if he thinks Gooners are going to give RVP a 'warm reception' Stupid old ****
"Warm reception" is obviously a euphemism for "letting him score lots of goals and generally walk all over them".
While i do see evryone's point about walcott playing 120 mins on tuesday i do think that we will need someone in the front three that has pace and is willing to go behind. We do have players in the midfield that can pick a pass but if there are no runners then we become very one dimensional. I'm not walcott's biggest fan but he can hurt teams with his pace and his crossing has improved alot this year, it's a tough decision, i mean if gnabry is fit then we can replace walcott when he tires but we will be under alot of pressure in this this match and we will need someone to switch the game up, we can't play in front of united for the whole game. Also with that midfield i am confident that we will have alot of possession which will again be vital. Obviously podolski is going to have to put in a real shift down that left side otherwise valencia will have a field day against santos, and clearly the defence will have to have the game of their lives to stop you know who, but i think the importance of giroud will be vital, he will have to hold the ball up well and link the play, both teams played 120 mins and we have had a day's extra rest and we are coming off the back off a win unlike united. Obviously the squad is not at full strength but with jack and sagna back it has given us a real lift, really looking forward to tommorrow.
Very witty. Not seen anyone use the term gloryhunter before, im devastated by such a cutting remark! It must really eat away at you, Arsenal not having any glory I mean. You sound more and more like Liverpool fans each season.
