Good Lord I must have gone through 5 pairs of boxers tonight...and another when the whistle went, but for a very different reason!
Cant argue about the shouts of 'divers'. The ref got both right. The young RB of yours should have been sent off tbf but he got most stuff right in the game.
The fact Welbeck knocked them out is almost too comical to comprehend. The fact he celebrated tells you everything about his mental state tonight. Welbeck is officially a GOONER!
****ING YES GET THE **** I'M SO ****ING HAPPY TO BE PROVEN WRONG HAHAHA EVERY UNITED FAN CAN **** OFF BACK TO THEIR CAVES. WE'RE WINNING THE FA CUP AGAIN MOTHERFUCKERS!
Think in a fast paced game the red did pretty darn wel, at least with the big calls. Both yellows were right and the "pen" for Danny would have been soft. In times when refs are constantly being criticised credit where it's due.
Several great things about this game..... 1) Love the fact Welbeck cut the bands to his old club by celebrating and getting booed. Now he is a GOONER indeed! 2) Ozil put in a great defensive performance! 3) De Gea saves were amazing - I wish we had a keeper like that COME ON ARSENAL!!
No he shouldnt have been sent off, they didn't show replays, Ashley Young most likely made the most of it. And if Bellerin should have been sent off, so should have been Fellani with all his fouls, including an elbow to Coqualan. Secondly, even by the rules of the game, refs can sometimes show some leniency to player on a yellow and let him off, it was Bellerins only second foul of the whole game.
I loved it when our fans chanted: He left cause your ****, he left cause your ****tttt, danny welbeck, he left cause your ****! Feels great to be able to say that to those ****ers with their RVP chants. Speaking of RVP, were was the crooked bastard?
RVP left Arsenal to win trophies, fair enough he won one in his first season, but doubt he wanted to spend the next 2 out of the top 4, and the third one fighting for the top 4 trophy, lol, back to where he started, and for what? For one league title, and becoming a traitor? Could have retired at Arsenal as a legend and also would have eventually gotten his trophy medals.
What a result. Through to the semi finals after knocking Utd out at OT. Get in! And Welbeck the man to do it! I thought the whole team put in a really good shift, they kept running constantly despite having less possession. Monreal, Mertesacker and Coquelin should get a lot of credit. And Wenger was spot on with his tactics, team selection and subs today. Le Prof he truly is! It's a good draw for us in the semi final against Bradford or reading and although it'll be a difficult game as they will give everything at Wembley im confident we can make the final again this year.
Agreed I think refs in general have been really poor this season but he got all the big calls spot on today.
