That is pretty poor at home to be fair against West Ham with all the attacking talent we have. Reading up next!
A few positives. The defence looked solid. Evans, Smalling and Rafael were very good. Anderson was lively and put in some fantastic passes. Just think the early goal made United sit back and we didn't play at any real tempo or urgency. Rooney and Cleverly should have swapped positions imo, Rooney was too deep half the time and Cleverly aint got no business being out wide. Don't get me started on Young... didn't he used to be a winger? someone who occasionally put in crosses?
to be fair .. they defended very well and were threatening at attack we lacked width so we made their job much easier
I have done indeed.. Currently In a boozer called the gorse hill. An driving just sank a guiness and a double jamesons two lines.. My ****ing sat nav is a c unt took me through altrincham and sale was snorting sat in the traffic..
Anderson need to work on his shooting if he want to be a regular .. but he is keep trying so that is at least a positive
It was a fairly good game with some decent chances at either end, felt we (WHU) could've got a draw until Carroll was replaced by Cole.
Had his wisdom teeth out recently... So he's been on the bench but SAF has been giving Lindegaard a few starts. To be honest these aren't the toughest matches (on paper) so I think SAF sees De Gea as his no1 at the moment, but Lindegaard is a good keeper and these are good matches to give him a bit of a run while De Gea recovers fully.
That was well worth the round trip then was it sweats? Bet you didn't even get chance for your chips, peas and gravy at the scottish wop's chippy <laygh>
De Gea has been out for a few weeks, and unless he had a horrible time healing then he should have been starting. When I had my wisdom teeth pulled they didn't stop bleeding until 2-3 days after the surgery and I was able to eat normal foods 5 days after the surgery. I know everyone heals differently but i can't imagine he'd be out for that long.
