Coward based on what? Have you actually seen the team? I advise you look at the bench before doing so. There's a lad their who is making his ever appearance on the bench. Disappointed to see Herrera not start though, thought he would because don't like seeing Carrick and BFS play consecutive games. Though they played well midweek, tbf. Happy Lingard remains though and nothing better that seeing the youngsters make their way to the first team squad.
Manchester United 01 de Gea 18 Young 12 Smalling 17 Blind 05 Rojo 16 Carrick 31 Schweinsteiger 08 Mata 10 Rooney 35 Lingard 09 Martial West Bromwich Albion 13 Myhill 25 Dawson 23 McAuley 06 Evans 11 Brunt 07 Morrison 05 Yacob 24 Fletcher 14 McClean 29 Sessegnon 33 Rondón
Anyway lets hope one of the million Moyes-esque crosses from the wings pays off. And those midfielders dont fall asleep on those deckchairs in the middle of the park. I'll keep fingers crossed that Schwein, Carrick and Rooney as the AM create something through the middle, I really do. It would show some progress at least.
I doubt we will get that tbh, we've got one winger on the pitch and he's playing RB. Mata is hardly going to be whipping in cross after cross and Lingard an AM himself. I would have played Herrera though, ahead of Carrick but in a midfield 3 rather than a 2.
My guess is its still more actual forward passes than most teams. What's 30% of 450? Almost 150? Some teams don't even make that many passes in a game
Terrible terrible negative football from Pulis. There's defending in numbers.. and then's there's anti-football. Fcking woeful.
Now that was a great move but why didn't Rooney just shoot Lack of confidence? He had a much better chance of scoring than Mata.
