My prediction is Spurs will have more possession, make more passes and take more shots (it's almost a given in any big game United play under Mourinho).

But I wouldn't like to guess the score.

"When I look at Roy Keane I often see myself, I equate this to his passion, desire and striving for perfection. He cares. He's a born winner. He is the driving force, the inspiration, the best reader of the game, the best talker of the game, the biggest winner."

Did Fergie really say that? Keane come across as having not one single ounce of joy in his life.

    Did you know him?

Can't say I did but I happen to have seen him laugh and smile often.

Undeniably a crisis now then. Still, if Mourinho goes for this, Woodward must follow.

We've tried to set up more positively and it's the left the individual failings of our defence pretty front and centre. Jose did ask for a centre-back in the summer.

    He did, yeah..

Clearly all our centre halves are absolute ****e so no doubt we need a couple, it's bloody obvious.

Mourinho bought Bailly and Lindelof though.

Well, after a 0-3 defeat this will sound wrong but I am quite happy with the performance tonight.
We were the best team on the pitch football wise but suffered from poor finishing and Pogba. Great games from Shaw and Lingard, Fred shows a good presence on the pitch (certainly more effective than Keita). I was disappointed Pereira didn't get a start and felt the change of Sanchez for Herrera was wrong (should have been Pogba).
We all hear how **** the defence is but that defence was better than any other than City last season (and 2nd or 3rd best the season before I think). We played with 10 men tonight, if Pogba wants to go then for ****s sake sell him.

Striker needed urgent....United should have won that.....fair play Spurs you took advantage of United's lack of fire power....Different story otherwise...

I agree that Pogba was invisible and that Lukaku could, should really, have put us three up before half time but our centre halves are ****ing gash and they have been since Ferdinand and Vidic.

It comes down to that. Our centre of defence is rubbish and they dictate the way we play.. As in, negatively as a team.

The whole team is set up to protect a poor defence.
