Yep. Last season we dropped 17 out of 30 early on. Can't be doing that again. A scrappy 1-0 is better than silky football and dropped points just now.

Still, we've got the players to turn it on big time. Hopefully they decide the last ten is a good time to show it.

Romero these past ten has justified his selection. Fully focussed. If de gears head is messed up, then van gaal made a good call.

 

Another counter attack wasted. This time by Rooney.

 

If that had been De Gea they'd be waxing lyrical about it. As it is though, Romero has just pi55ed on every journo's headlines in tomorrow's papers! Bet a few were getting ready to lay into him and say how 5hit he was. Those save were nothing less than excellent tbh.

 

Well 3 points which is the main thing. A few good moments but overall an average performance. Darmian was great, Romero good, depay lively.

Happy to win, want to see more. Much more. Lacked cohesion at times.

 

Schneiderlin has to understand his role as a Box to Box mf. Two midfielders sitting back when we have possession just makes us toothless going forward when there's only one CF. Schneiderlin has to get forward more if we're to dominate.
