One of the biggest problems is that ONE of Carrick or Schneiderlin have to get forward when we have the ball. Carrick is never going to so it has to be Schneiderlin. That's why we're so light through the middle (outnumbered) when we drive forward. Far too defensive this.

No. We've been poor. For 20 minutes at the start of both halves. We've got away with it against a poor Spurs but won't too often in the future. Lacking energy (Herrera) and carrying no attacking threat (Rooneys ill discipline). Herrera coming on. For Depay though. Strange.
Need to get a second goal or even just create a big chance to get us going again. Far to pedestrian. No explosive pace now though. Rooney tries the spectacular just now and doesn't come off.
Herreras movement and drive is brilliant. Opens up Spurs with a simple sideways run, gives young loads of space and we get a free kick in a good area.
Nice little somersault dive by Young there United should win this though, Spurs look toothless. United are not playing well at all, but this early on, while players find their feet and their sharpness, its all about picking up the points.
