Jeeez Dave, I know you speak sense, but Col U are staring relegation to league 2 in the face and he has the cheek to come on mocking us for loosing away to Man U.
2-0 would of been a fairer reflection, the way the first half panned out you just knew it wasn't going to be an easy game. I never think you can compete with Manchester United by playing a slow pace game it's actually nearly impossible, you need to unsettle them and hit them at a lightening pace to be honest we didn't really jump out of starting blocks in the 1st half.
Just been reading the Utd board and we have been labelled the worst and most dull team to watch at OT all season. Gutted. Don't want fans of other clubs to start thinking of us that way as once you get labelled it's very hard to shake it off regardless of how your playing style changes.
13 shots to 1 tells you all you need to know. Presumably some teams go there set up in a slightly more ambitious/positive way and try to take something from the game, that's all I can assume.
I can't speak for everyone else, but I don't think it's indicative of how you normally play. Many teams this season have had a real go at us trying to expose our weaker defense. Over the past few seals however out defense has been excellent and I think Hughton set you up to get a lucky draw or a low scoring loss. If you were to give it a go, you may have scored a goal or two, but how many more would you have let in? Anyways best of luck for the rest of the season.
