    Some of the offsides we've played lately are insane, Willo just deal with the ****ing ball man, both Anita and Simpson are deep.

    The positional sense of our defenders is woeful. Colo is urging everyone out and Simpson plays on at least 3 Man U players.

    And AP f*ck off seriously. If I were his player I would be questioning his substitutions every time! WTF Cisse scores and then gets taken off for Sammy. Like that I might as well have not scored.

    To be fair Simpson and Anita were deep. Willo could see it and had to defend, in no way Simpsons fault. Colo was completely out of position and in no place to organise an offside. Even if Simpson came out, Anita was in. Willo should have looked and headed that away.

    A goal for United is just as massive! Michael Carrick produces a wonderful ball from the right, the Newcastle backline try to play offside and fail, so Javier Hernandez is totally free to sweep in a half-volley from close range. Terrible defending. Big goal.

    Pards needs to get something done. Not the first time we've defended woefully.

    Newcastle midfielder Vurnon Anita is in trouble here. He is clattered by a late challenge from Antonio Valencia, who has already been booked. He dives in, that was a bad one. Anita is on a stretcher, and the officials are getting grief again, this time from the Newcastle bench.

    OMG, Anita. The one person we don't need to be sidelined.

    Seeing it again Anita may have just been the other side, still an awful offside to play there. Just pure panic defending from Colo and Willo.

    Colo tries to move players up, Simmo loves to back off 1 defender plays them onside. Willo is a clumsy oaf, Santon missed a clearance on the goal line the other game, Colo, Willo have their share of poor lapses of concentration. We need defenders. And no, not players who spend half the season on the treatment table like Saylor.

    By the way, even my Manure friends said Valencia should have been sent off. Not at all obvious that the officials favoured one side, not at all...

    Man Utd past masters at ramping up performances. Our defence wasn't good enough, but we knew that already. Apart from that everyone worked hard and put in a shift.

    Krul, for me, was the key player in all this, as some of those goals were savable/should be saved at this level. He did ok largely, but it's just massively deflating when you go to these places expecting a drubbing, the rest of the team put in a heroic performance, and one is below average by their standards...

    Overall, well done Man Utd, commiserations to us... We're always on the end of it aren't we? Oh well, we'll always be there, win lose we don't care <ok>

    I survived the apocalypse, this is relatively small fry <laugh> Roll on Jan people!

    Just don't understand that attempted offside at all. That was a meat and drink ball for a centre half to defend. Backline was like an angry snake at times. Never expected to get anything, but if Colo, Santon, Simpson and Willo had got themselves organised we'd have won!

    We must get a centre half and a left back.

    It's a shame that we have lost today, deserved a point, although our defense is atrocious. Coloccini looks exactly like he did in his debut season... he needs a better partner than Willo.
