Manchester United v Newcastle review

Good game, great spirit and energy and even Martial looked like he wanted to play. I was concerned that Pogba might bring a bad attitude to the side, but he seems to be in a positive frame of mind for once and played a decent game. Handy result given the performances of some of the sides around us, but still the kind of performance that we ought to be putting on against the likes of Newcastle, so nothing to get too carried away with.

 

We are so badly inconsistent that it's not worth celebrating winning a home game that would have been a foregone conclusion just two years ago.

Given we barely win back to back these days, let's see what we can do away at Burnley on a Saturday night.

 

Going off recent performances i would go 1-1 in this one.
