Maybe from an attacking point of view but defensively we switched off and let Milan through to score 2 goals. As an overall performance United game was close to perfection.
5mins of breathlessness for sure after 40 of absolute hammering. Look, even carragher agrees it was just ok. Weve need plenty better performances where we miss 3 or 4 chances and not score. The chances went in and we walked through them. Robbo was poor enough first half for example. Several poor passes etc. I dont think theres a difference between saying "clinical" "competent" or "complete" here. You say it was a complete performance. I say it was a good competent showing where we were able to walk through and score cos we turned up with our usual work ethic and team shape. We had several more gears in the bag there.

We were world class in terms of our pressing and attacking but felt like we were sloppy at the beginning of the game (quite a few loose passes) and we were still quite open / easy to get in behind. But as the goals came, we just took more and more control. Definitely wouldn't say we were poor but we weren't in 5th gear - which is even more scary
"Keita was able to rise to his feet and join the celebrations. Pogba did not connect with his weight-bearing foot and he was instead bounced out of the way by the impact. He had not twisted anything — he did not even leave the ground on crutches." @JamesPearceLFC
Definitely his best game. The bollocking for switching off after scoring last time out obviously helped...
as expected. I presume it was a bruise which could poor naby out for a month. If they are saying not twisted and no borken then to be carried off is a bit... well... ok naby la, see you v brighton.
Hoping these little niggles and impact injuries are a little quicker for him to get over now he seems to be enjoying game time, scoring, assisting etc. Do you want to cement a place or not!?
