    isn’t it the fact that we’re not surprised that’s most disheartening… it’s the hope…

    I
I had none to start with. Harrison/klich/rodrigo/dallas. None of those inspire me and koch was hung out to dry by bielsa. Costa came on and won hairstyle of the day award but offered little. Wee jimmy was pn the bench but never got a sniff.
Would man utd have got 5 with kalvin playing? I doubt it very much. He was missed as much for his ability as his inspiration to the others.

Don’t know the score at the time of the substitutions but maybe he thought bringing the young lads on during a bit of a drubbing might not help them. That said, Bielsa seems to have a pre- specified pecking order in his head.

How do we think Cooper did?

    Coops did fine.

That said, if he'd pushed up he could have played Greenwood offside when he spun in behind (2nd goal). Clutching at straws maybe, but a top class defender would have read that situation better and helped his team mate out.

Maybe just maybe the thrashing at the hands of the unmentionables will do us more good than harm
    Just trying to be positive

I agree a top defender would have read that situation and ran to the goal line and that would not have gone in, not a big fan of Cooper but other than that he wasn't bad, ,,,,or good for that matter:rolleyes:

koch was hung - see what you did there

no doubt kp is the hardest player to replace in this side… firstly he’s the best player, secondly he plays a pivotal position in bielsaball that no one else in the squad seems able to. They had more players missing but with kp and lorrente out we were more handicapped.

Think that was the 1st goal conceded, but yeh I agree...

Could probably find Coops at fault for all 5 goals if I try hard enough.

Yes it was, sorry i misread your comment, Meslier got a hand or arm to the ball and it looped into the net, cooper should have run to the goal line

… I’m sure you could - coops blaming is quite an art form among the Leeds cognoscenti

Didn't we lose our first game last season as well as losing to Scum by 4 goals, our season tuned out alright in the end didn't it? The other good news is that we managed to get those two unfortunate events done in one day this year, rather than ruining two perfectly good weekends

We've had to let the butler go.

He doubled up when it was the cook's day off and too many leeks.

Credit to you lads, no blaming the officials or diving or any other excuse, just accepting that on the day you were outplayed.
Sometimes it happens when a team seems to have the hoodoo over another but means nothing in the great scheme of things.
Good luck for the rest of the season, your'e a good team to watch in neutral games <ok>
