Is it me or are UTD looking a little jaded on attack at times?

Ouch.. is that what it is now? He needs to get back on the trail or Rooney will be overtaking him in the goalscoring charts :emoticon-0145-shake

    Edit: -

Actually, Rooney is already ahead on goals scored per minute played...

he is fighting for the team ... and tbh he is not missing chances
he move left and right & into channels
he work his socks off freeing spaces to players to exploit .. Jose is not an idiot to play him every match
he is fast strong and offer aerial threat in box .. UTD have many dimensions when he is playing .. which make it harder for defenders to predict , will we cross, or through ball or short passes

    McTominay did very well
even in today news, Sir alex asked Jose to play him more
Pogba need time to be serious and stop showing off at times ..
    I support this decision 100%

I don't doubt he has his advantages, but you can't play upfront for Man Utd if your not scoring consistantly. Working hard for the team is not enough.

Mourinho has not dropped him because he's only just paid 90 million pounds for him in the summer, and he'd look silly if he did drop him.

His first touch is an abomination so as such he ruins 'chances' for himself to actually miss.

He needs to improve. He's a centre forward, a No.9, and his job is to score goals. If he can't control a moving ball then the potential chance is lost so he is not scoring enough.

He is at least getting into the right positions.

he was 75m not 90m though.. beside Jose dropped Pogba who costed even more.. so definitely that is not the case ...
UTD setup is more deeper than alike of liveprool ..
comparing him to Kane , yes Kane got more goals, but he don't work as much and more in the box than Lakaku, that is why kane have only 1 assist compared to 5 for Liukaku and even in terms of shots lukaku has 58% on target compared to 57% to kane. the problem is in the supply and Jose setup.

I honestly cannot believe you lot sometimes. The way some of us moan about Lukaku does not actually make any sense.

Think about it for a second: last season we had a super striker who scored most of our goals. We were happy with HIM weren't we? But the team was suffering we had the most draws of any premiership clubs. we drew more half of our home games. We came sixth in the premier but we had a great striker !

This season, we have an awful striker who scores "4 out of 17 pl games" Unacceptable. Awful. But the team is winning matches. Lingard, Martial, and others are scoring. Lukaku has created many chances, he creates the space, distracts the defenders. Didn't we say last season that if the goals were more shared we would win more matches? I couldn't give a **** if Lukaku didn't score any goals in the rest of the season, if we won all the matches.

    Rant ****ing over !

Lucky is making some great runs and pulling defenders all over the place but receiving too many poor passes (which he always applauds for the spot). If Pogba hadn't been injured/suspended so much he would have quite a few more goals too.

You do make a great point, and I do agree with you that Lukaku will help others score goals more than a 35 year old Ibrahimovich did last season. Ibra did his best for us, but because of age, he just did not have the energy levels to be anything more than a static target man. he still had that world class touch and finishing ability when given the chances though.

Lukaku is the opposite he's in his prime physically, so he can put in a shift for us up top, he can run the channels and he can put himself about in the air, and probably even win more balls than Ibra.

But the harsh reality of it all, is he doesn't have the quality of Ibra, he doesn't have the touch or finishing ability of Ibra.

In short what I am saying is we need a player that is close to the level of Ibra when he was 25-30. Admittedly that is not going to be easy to find.

Just pointing out a plain fact that his first touch and control is not yet good enough and so therefore he wastes opportunities to score.

I did say he's getting into the right positions, which he is, but if you can't see there's room for improvement then there's no hope. £75 million really should buy the finished article and he isn't that. Yet.

    Rant over. <ok>

we are not Liverpool when we aan attack attack and score piles of goals.. but what Lukaku offer the team is alot.. and people who think they know better than Jose need a reality check

there is not a single player around without some weakness !!! what you expect ?!!
if he had all attributes, then his price will be 140m or 200m or even 300m by this year market
give the guy some break !!!

    Ok, sorry. How dare I?

All our players are brilliant. World class even. Best in their positions in the league and completely faultless.

    Is that ok?

I don't get why we shouldn't question Jose Mourinho.

This is the same guy who wouldn't give De Bruyne and Salah a chance at Chelsea, but we're not allowed to question why he's bought in some 90 million pound striker, rather than give the young strikers we already had a chance this season.

Unlike you bunch of brainwashed idiots on the Salahpool board, some of us on here can actually see things objectively.
