Team News - Donnarumma, Shaw, Maguire, Varane, Wan Bissaka, Pogba, Rice, Fernandes, Rashford, Haaland, Diallo. Subs - de Gea, Telles, Mc Tominay, Cavani, James
Even without Haaland and our other new signings we have put together a very strong team. Our bench looks mighty too. Looking forward to watching this line up.
Martial injury update - "Unfortunately he's [Martial] sprained his knee with France, it's always when they go away for internationals. It's fingers crossed and hope they're going to come back fit — losing Anthony for what might be the rest of the season is very disappointing."
Why would we? It's Brighton!!!! B R I G H T O N. Borderline relegation candidates. We're in transition (for what feels like ****ing forever), why on earth would we win this very, very difficult game?
Calm down, Chief! Three more world class players and we will start winning against Brighton. Guaranteed!
Brighton is playing a very compact system and every frickin time we try to get into the 18, we lose the ball to them. Sadly, we have no other way to play. So, we end up just brute forcing it hoping that one will get through. No dynamic methodology and no plan b. Hopefully the brute force method works in the second half. Terrible fkin play!
It really is pathetic that Ole is in line for a new contract. Even the most ardent Ole supporter as a manager must acknowledge that the team is sht to watch against teams that are well drilled defensively. Over and over again we run ourselves to the ground completely void of ideas. Hopefully we can get one of our drowsy players kicked in the nuts to earn a penalty (or two to win this game).
Yeah. First shot on target all game. Even if we win this game, we have been pathetic to watch for 62 minutes playing at home against mighty Brighton.
Maguire almost kicked Welbeck in the nuts there to concede a penalty. This game is a kick in the nuts match. It hurts!
