If he wants us to play fast attacking football, then tell your players to have a go. Fail trying but have a go! He hasn't managed even that (even IF that was his intention) so he still has not been good enough. How about this - he wants "more fast attacking" players but that doesn't mean he wants them to be direct. What he means by "fast attacking" is just playing those 50 passes quicker? Play them 50 quickly, still without any territorial advantage until the final 3 passes? I can understand why our players might not rise to that challenge in the Premier League.
Thanks mate, really looking forward to it. Honestly don't care too much about the result, just hope it's a day my boy will associate with me and the FA Cup in years to come. He's 10, I'm 40...a cup final to share together probably couldn't have come at a better time.
Cup finals are never forgotten by kids who watch them with their dad, mine even talk about one's we watched on telly together 20+ years ago
Did anyone else notice that during the post-match walk about not one single player walked anywhere near LvG, in fact, you could see that they were keeping a deliberate distance from him - even Rooney.
He is a goner (or should be). The only reason he is still around is that they don't want to sack a manager before an FA cup final.
They can't sack the manager before a cup final. I assume that they are going to get rid soon after. You can't ignore a manager being booed by the fans during his end of season speech, even if you're a **** like Edwood Woodwood. They also can't trust him with any more money.
Make sure to take a cheesy selfie and post in on the board, like Chief at the Nou Camp in 99. Cos people who do that are just so cool
I was expecting at least a genuine attempt to get 19 goals. But you've got the FA Cup to look forward to anyway. All is not lost.
