I'd agree tbh, but the alternative could prove to be painful if you don't rattle them, as if you stand 'toe to toe' there's only one winner imo, and it ain't you.....
I knwo it's the Champions League and anything can happen etc etc, but I wouldn't call it ridiculous. You've been poor at home in general this season (comparing it to previous seasons) and you're about to play the best attacking side on the planet with hardly any defenders and without your main striker.
Even so, I've yet to get my head round the fact we can be considered a 6-1 outside bet at home to anyone. Just doesn't compute in my head. It is not right!
Every German side we have faced this season has been battered. These Germans are no match for the might United. They even had most of Bayerns name. Clearly an omen and were gonna win 12-3 on aggregate!!
Parking the bus means you are just inviting pressure, and isn't always the best form of defence. Sometimes attack really is the best form of defence. Give them something to worry about going the other way, and they'll be less willing to pile men forward. If we just allow them the ball, and give there fullbacks the freedom to get forward then were gonna get a good hiding
They are good odds when you think they're in favour of the side playing 'United away'. May try a tenner on it!
You guys are 33-1 to lift the trophy with William Hill. You had a punt? Chelsea at 7-1 for the Premier League is very good too, I'd have had a bit of that had Liverpool not been involved (can't bet against your own team)
I saw that. They are far from out of it. Just had the United to win CL, only risked two quid though!!
Manchester United are the biggest price they have ever been with Sky Bet to win at Old Trafford as Bayern Munich visit as odds-on favourites to establish a first-leg lead. David Moyesâ men head into the Champions League quarter-final stage as significant outsiders to lift the trophy at 33/1, while defending champions Bayern are favourites in the outright betting, despite no side previously retaining the title in its modern format. Having already wrapped up the Bundesliga title, Pep Guardiolaâs men will be fully focused on the task, with a host of their star names populating the substitutesâ bench for Saturdayâs 3-3 draw with Hoffenheim. The fact that theyâve won all of their competitve away games since October hardly offers encouragement for for United, scoring two or more in their last 12 in all competitions. While the hosts have won all their European home games this season, they have struggled domestically at Old Trafford, winning just seven in 16 Premier League home games and failing to beat any of the top three. Mario Mandzukic heads the first scorer betting but the goals have been shared around Bayernâs side in Europa this campaign, with Thomas Muller leading the way with four to his name, while United remain without their leading marksman Robin van Persie. ------------- They've come down to 11-2 now Thats you lot putting money on them that is!
Liverpool are the best team in Europe now. They would destroy Bayern at Anfield. A Bayern side that struggled against Arsenal at the Enirates, don't forget. Whoever wins the EC now is only keeping it warm for LFC
My God, who is talking about Liverpool? If you're just trying to cause **** cant you go on general chat or something
To be fair Smith I think most Liverpool fans would laugh at anyone who claimed they were the best in europe. Not even in the best 100 sides in europe right now.
