Actually makes zero sense Boufal tries to run at a brilliant one on one defender and loses it pretty much everytime. JWP can cut back away from Bissaka to deliver quickly and early on his strong foot if he was playing on his side and Boufal can run at Young at will. No idea why they haven’t swapped

Few times him and Ings have got the ball with their back to goal and little support. Been tough for then today, nothing coming from midfield. We work it out wide and then the cross is **** or blocked
The only difference between the sides is our customary soft goal against - we can turn this around, but need to score the next goal. And I haven`t seen a long throw like Danso`s since Rory Delap.
This formation makes it too easy for teams to counter. One pass and they are through against our defence plus overloads in the wing areas. At least we are still in this.
Truly bizarre really, most people will want United to lose. This goes for any of the big six - if so many people support one of them, then the imagine all of the other 5 clubs supporter's wanting them to fail; 'let alone' the mere supporters of the opposition and 'neutrals'. I can't stand this commentary focused on the 'big teams' title/CL narrative, rather than game at hand. I'm not asking for the opposite, a patronising 'cup-set' style narrative, but less brown-nosing the big boys please.
