Great thread @RTB. I have a feeling we are gonna make it back to back wins on the road United's defence is woeful and if the crowd turns it will help us Hawaaaay
Lovely thread as usual @RTB I’m probably more confident about getting a result in this game than any other game this season and that feels weird to say that! Definitely feel we will get something from this fixture. Read a couple of earlier posts…..is Nordi a doubt??
Cheers RTB great read as always. Regardless of how they are playing this is always going to be a difficult fixture However fancy us to get at least a point Not sure how RLB will set up but think Gertruida plays. Maybe even in midfield I really like this lad think he could be an important player for us this season This lad is a serious footballer
I love the start we`ve had but I`d still take a guaranteed 17th if it`s on offer - I`m stuck between heart and head...the problem is I`m not entirely sure which is which... I just can`t see the current bottom few teams remaining as bad as they are at the minute. I think Wolves have it in them to improve significantly, likewise West Ham - I fear for Burnley (only 1 point from teams other than us) but I`m not sure who the other 2 teams are... Away from home we have looked really together, strong and determined against Palace and Forest and I hope that gives us a blueprint for all of our away games - they`ll all be difficult and we will lose a few But...we took a point away at Palace (3rd in the League; beat Liverpool); took all 3 vs Forest (playing in Europe and were seriously challenging for Champions League last year) and we have got Regis... At home we are unbeaten (but West Ham were dogshite; Brentford we only scraped home and scored the winner in the final knockings and Villa we dodged a billet given the red card but genuinely think we would have won with 11...)... I don`t know! It all feels very "not Sunderland" **** IT...I`ve given my head a shake and we all need to get passport ready! Especially after 3 points on Saturday
Thanks @RTB Sunderland's Weaknesses Team has no significant weaknesses Eeeeh you sure know how to impress a lass
Regardless of how poor they've been should be a real tough test, they've a handful of players who could be the biggest tests some of our lads have faced thus far. Hopefully a good game.
HA'WAY THE fookin LADS MACKEMS ATTACKEM, Gerrin to these fookers. this league is wide open to take advantage and we are on a roll. Those days of us being unlucky are gone. You make your own luck. We fight for what we get. We can win this and make a real mark. Cooooooomon. Are there any spare tickets for this game?
That's right in my opinion, this is Man Utd. I’m just hoping the players really want him gone and are prepared to take a hit … … he’s actually embarrassing and I believe RLB will be able to do a job on him.
I don’t think there’ll be spare tickets for any away games this season mate … … I’m trying to help a dozen people at the moment, some of whom are going down without tickets. Our away support is absolutely top class, Forest mates couldn’t praise us enough.
My lad has a season ticket and went to many games the last few years. I said to him. Once we get back to the big time, you won't be moaning how bad we play but how you can't get to games
Absolutely zero pressure on us and the weight of the world on their shoulders, we can get something here if we can keep Bruno quiet
Great read as usual @RTB mate, free hit for the lads i feel and i think Man U are there to be taken. I've voted for a draw but wouldn't be at all surprised if we took all 3 points back up the road. It will be interesting to see how we handle Amad if or where he plays, he was absent through a death in the family last week . I believe he's been back in training this week, personally I hope he doesn't start.
Thanks again RTB for another classy MDT , and it gets no classier than this , I am looking forward to see how we set up for this one, I expect few changes in personnel , although our full backs are below par of late, again I would prefer a 3/5/2 line up but doubt we will, even so still believe we could get a result here and keep our momentum, going into yet another tediously boring break in this exciting season.
