Difference there is the presidents buy the players a lot of the time at those clubs, where as that doesn't happen in this country. Moyes has obviously given the go ahead for this deal for Carvalho
So much sense, and from a scouser. Pure candyshop thinking from some on here I'm afraid. Anybody watching our last half a dozen games can see that we really aren't that far off from challenging again. Seriously, can people not see we have quality in the final third we just lack it in midfield. Our priorities are a defensive midfielder, a deep lying playmaker to build defence into attack (the link man to the likes of Mata), a top class LB and possibly a RB. There are arguments for CB but I think our centrebacks are fine for another season, as long as they have protection in front of them and aren't being used to cover the full-backs (which they won't be once we buy the full-backs). Please don't buy this bollox from the media pundits about wholesale changes, it's nonsense - what they'd like us to believe rather than the reality. We need 4, possibly 5 players and that's it. Hopefully we've started that with Carvalho as our new DM. Faboulous the few times I've seen him, but reminds me of Pogba in his style and tackling, which makes selling him even more mind-boggling!
Sounds like Christian wants to do a 'Spurs' and buy a whole new team that can't gel for love nor money. Christian once again shows complete lack of any knowledge and shows he's infact the '******ed' one
